JMRI Decoderpro3 definitie bestand voor digirails DR80010 digitale LED strip

De digirails DR80010 LED strip decoder is nog niet opgenomen in de decoder definities van JMRI Decoderpro3.
Gisteravond heb ik na weken studeren hoe het werkt, decoderfiles doorgronden, coderen, debuggen en testen het definitie bestand gedeeld met JMRI.
Ik heb geen idee hoelang het duurt voordat/ en of  het publiekelijk beschikbaar komt daarom heb ik het bestand hier beschikbaar gemaakt zodat wie het wilt deze kan gebruiken.

Hier de beschrijving hoe je het definitie bestand kan toevoegen aan Decoderpro3.

Loading a definition from a file
 If you have local file containing a decoder definition, perhaps downloaded from a web page or received via email, you can install that definition in JMRI. •Select the "Import Decoder File" item from the "Debug" menu.
•You'll be shown a file selection dialog.
•If the file doesn't have a ".xml" extension, you may have to select the "show all files" filter at the bottom of the dialog.
•Navigate to your file, and click OK.
 Unless there are errors, the file will be copied into your JMRI preferences directory and installed.

How This Works
 Both of these tools take the decoder definition information from the source you indicate and copy it to your local JMRI preferences directory so that it will be available from now on. For this to work, you can't already have a decoder definition file there by the same name. If such a file does exist, the program will indicate an error and not replace the file.
 The definition is stored in your preferences directory, instead of the JMRI distribution directory, so that installing a new version of JMRI doesn't delete it. Note, however, that if a newer version of JMRI comes along with a copy of this decoder definition installed, the program will give priority to the specific version that you imported. JMRI thinks you knew what you were doing when you specifically imported that specific version. If you'd prefer to use the one in the new JMRI version, just delete yours from your preferences directory and select "Rebuild Decoder Index" in the debug menu.

This is a message for " Ronald aka ROn30" who posted a definition file for Digirails LED bar DR80010 in the patch section, without being connected to a SourceForge account. So no way to contact him directly.

The posted file was flawed and contained several errors that could have been detected by applying "Validate XML File" (from debug menu) prior to posting the file.
I fixed the syntax errors but didn't check the file contents with regards to the manufacturer's documentation. I would encourage the author to retest this new file.

Besides, the "alt function map" that was created manually may no longer be necessary considering the latest improvements brought to the function map in 3.9.3.


PS: a real name would be better for the records in JMRI.

Hi Lolke,

Bedankt voor de head-up ik zal eens kijken wat ik kan doen.
Een yahoo account zit er niet in omdat je daarvoor een telefoonnummer moet prijsgeven ik zie niet in waar dat voor nodig is om een bijdrage te mogen leveren.

Helpt niet de activatie verloopt via telefoon.
Via sourceforce.net kan ik met de man in contact komen.

Ter info het bestand is minimaal aangepast een paar labels op een andere plaats en wat extra informatie verwijderd.
Het nieuwe bestand is in orde op een paar kleine dingen na;
De ledgroepen staan nu gedefineerd als connectie type "other" in dat geval is "LED" een juistere weergave.
De fabrikant heet nu "Digirails" en niet "digirails"

Ik zal het orginele bestand achter bovenstaande link vervangen voor het sourforce bestand.
