Trainz Railways signals a new simulation experience for the PC platform!

Trainz Railways, the latest release in the popular Trainz railway sim franchise, is out now and will be just the ticket for anyone who wants to enjoy the complete railway experience. Design, Direct and Drive is the Trainz motto - you can Design routes, Direct operations or just get on and Drive the trains. Trainz Railways is published in the UK by Just Trains and developed by the award-winning team at Auran Games. Trainz Railways (published outside the UK as Trainz Classics) is the first in a planned series of classic routes and features New York’s Harlem line along with a fantasy Metropolis route.
Future editions are set to include more classic routes from around the UK, Australia and the US; Trainz Railways is set to become into a unique collection of the world’s most iconic rail routes.
As with previous releases of Trainz, users will have access to the Trainz Download Station. This is an online database of free content created by a 600-000-strong community of Trainz enthusiasts. Trainz Community Manager Lance Jago acknowledged that the Download Station has been a unique feature that has added greatly to the appeal of Trainz. “Over the last six years, users have created and shared over 60,000 of their own items. By helping them to share this extra content, we’ve turned Trainz into a genuinely community focused simulation and users have enjoyed seeing their creative efforts enjoyed by others.
