English Electric Diesel Locomotive Class 1400 CP (Portuguese Railways)

Hi,

This is one of my recent projects: the English Electric Diesel Locomotive Class 1400 of CP (Portuguese Railways) in the standart orange/brown colour scheme.
Portugal ordered a total of 50 Diesel Class 1400 locomotives from English Electric.
The first bath of 10 locomotives where built in the United Kingdom and arrived in Portugal in 1967. The remaining locomotives where built in Portugal.
Today the EE 1400 Diesel locomotives also operates as shunters / switchers.

The Micromodel resin cast body shell is produced to be used with the Athearn SW-1000/1500 powertrain kit.

This is a great looking model you have there 
Is it all self painted too ?
Is there a track lay-out that you have made for this locomotive or is this just made for looking bling bling on a shelf at your home ?

Thanks for your comments.
I painted my self the resin kit as well as all other small parts and accessories with primer in spray and then I applied the orange and brown coat with a brush.
Indeed I do have a layout for my locomotives and rolling stock.
BTW I used the Märklin system (AC) and for this reason all locomotives were converted to AC in order to be able to run on Marklin C tracks.
