6.9.4. Usage of powered outputsThis procedure depends on the wiring of the lights and auxiliaryfunctions in the locomotive:a) The lamps / function outputs are insulated from the commonpole (ground) (i.e.: the locomotive chassis); therefore they arepotential free. The functions of the locomotive must be potential-free, in other words there may not be any other connectionto the function besides the wires from the decoder. The voltageat these outputs is about 1.5V lower than the track voltage.The blue wire is the „common pole“; the function output itselfis the „minus-pole”.
