Hello.
Märklin announced the RailPro 6504 now for Trix, too. But from my point of view 269,00 € is a little bit expensive :). And for a parcel to Germany I have to pay 15,00 - 20,00 € more (I know, my problem, why do I live in Germany :)?).
Is there any dealer in the Netherlands, who would sell the loco for less than 269,00 € ?

All prices on the websites of the shops are the same. That's a condition that Marklin asked when you want to sell their products. ( Roco use the same strategy)
In the shop the price can be lower but not on the net.
Also for members off a shop the price can be lower dan € 269,-. But you have to pay to become a member ;)

As it is a model exclusively for the Marklin Stores and Shops in the Netherlands, I wouldn't be surprised if Marklin asked (with some pressure??) the shop owners to keep the prices in all shops the same. Like Geoffrey wrote, maybe only with a "shop-member" discount of 5 to 10%.
And yes, it is an expensive model >:( if e.g. compared to the yellow 6409, but I already ordered one ::).

Even voor de goede orde, Ralf begrijpt gewoon Nederlands. Alleen schrijft hij, om niet geheel opgehelderde redenen, in het Engels in plaats van het Duits. Zijn landgenoot Bernd bijvoorbeeld doet daar niet zo moeilijk over. :)

@Ralf, Dann musst du an den Versandkosten sparen. Kaufe einfach ein paar Sachen mehr und dann rechnest du das Porto um. Ich habe schon oft bei niederl. Händlern sammeln lassen, bis sich der Versand gelohnt hat. Bis jetzt keine schlechten Erfahrungen gemacht....

Thank you very much for your answeres (in english and dutch :)).
It's new for me, that I have to be a member from a shop to get better conditions. In Germany I don't know any dealer, who practise something like this. Often you get good conditions at your first order and sometimes you "only" have to buy more to get better conditions.
Perhaps I have to think about to get the membership at Modeltreinexpress. But in the moment I have "only" this Trix loco and so a membership would be to "expensive", I believe.

Van dat lidmaatschap moet je je niet al te veel voorstellen. Dat wordt (zo is mij verteld) voornamelijk gedaan om de 'echte' prijzen aan klanten te laten zien, terwijl de door de fabrikant geëiste prijzen gewoon op de wegpagina staan.
