Goedemorgen,

Ik ben bezig om een goederenwagon van schakelbaar licht te voorzien en wil er ook een Krois koppeling opzetten. Ik heb een lokpilot 5 Fx micro (59110). Programmeren via de Ecos gaat prima, licht op AUX 1 en koppeling op AUX 2. Alleen: de handleiding lijkt zichzelf tegen te spreken. De vraag is of iemand dit al geprobeerd heeft en advies kan geven.

In paragraaf 12.5.1 staat: Conventional coupler function: You can use this function to control Krois® couplers, also in connection with automatic pushing/removing. Maar in 12.5.7.1 staat:   Krois® and ROCO® couplers need a special high frequency PWM signal to avoid burning the copper windings of the coil. This special function „Coupler“ provides this type of signal. In this mode, the output turns on at 100% for 250 ms and then reduces the output power by switching to the PWM-signal. The ratio between Off and On time can be set by adjusting the „Brightness Value“ from 0 (completely off) to 31 (connected through = 100% output).

Dus moet ik kiezen voor de modus Conventional Coupler of voor Roco Coupler Function? En is de 'brightness' van belang of niet? Wel ga ik de ontkoppelaar na 4 seconde automatisch laten afslaan.

Hallo Rolf,

Voor de Krois koppelingen gebruik ik altijd de 'Conventional' Coupler. Dat werkt prima. Ik schakel ook de koppeling altijd na een paar seconden weer uit. Dat is wel essentieel, anders worden ze voor eenmalig gebruik.
